The take a soldier fishing event is probably one of the biggest events in SWF,150 active soldiers will be at this event,some are wounded. All the proceeds go to the wounded warrior project. This event is about our community joining forces and coming out for a great day to support our soldiers.
We ask the Naples paddle community to come and participate in this event .
Bring your paddle boards,kayaks,canoes and join in the fun.
Enter our paddle fishing tournament and also be part of the patriotic paddle parade,wear red,white and blue and paddle around the bay .Be there to cheer on the soldiers as they come back from their fishing tournament and watch the way in.This is a fun day for all the family.

TAKE A SOLDIER FISHING, Event Saturday – September 14, 2013
Join us for the event in downtown Naples at Bayfront Plaza. Food, fun, silent auction and entertainment starts at 9:00am. This is a family friendly event and there will be food, music, games and local vendors to help raise money for the tournament which benefits the Wounded Warrior Project.
Live Auction starts at 1:00pm, followed by the live weigh-in where the Captains and the Troops will weigh their fish. Come out and show your support. Become an Event or Team Sponsor Levels of sponsorship can be found on the sponsor page. Our goal is to sponsor 70 boats participating in the Soldier fishing event.
