Come for the water, stay for the wine!

Make the 2014 Cayuga Lake SUP Cup your vacation destination race this summer! Where else can you enjoy a premier SUP race, surrounded by lush parks, pristine waters, towering waterfalls, ice-age gorges, and over 100 wineries and breweries? Not to mention we have abundant farmers markets, wonderful museums, phenomenal eateries, and, well, really cool people.

The Cayuga Lake SUP Cup is a 3-day race expo celebrating lake, land, and human fitness August 15-17, 2014 in Ithaca and Lansing, NY. Race day is Saturday, August 16! Feature races are our 7-mile elite “Paddle to the Falls,” our 3-mile recreation race, our 1-mile fun race and our sprint-length races for adaptive paddlers. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Try your hand at Key Log Rolling, test your ability to soar with aerial yoga, or compete for prizes in SUP Limbo, our 360-degree Buoy Turn Challenge, and super fun SUP relays!  Close your race day by joining our Community Lu’au or find a great eatery in town! Then on Sunday, take advantage of one of our pre-packaged tours (Cayuga Lake SUP and SIP Boat Tour, Hops on Board Brewery Tour, or our Ithaca Wines and Waterfalls Tour) or create one of your own using some of our favorite links below!

“Ithaca is Gorges” – Visit Ithaca: Did you know Ithaca has more restaurants per capita than NYC?

Finger Lakes Wine Country: Find out why the region produces some of the world’s best Rieslings!

Finger Lakes Beer Trail: Don’t worry, be hoppy! Good for whatever ales you!

Ithaca’s Discovery Trail: Where there is a museum for the kid in everyone!

Ithaca Farmers Market: A farmer’s market you can reach by SUP!

(And beer, and gorges, and waterfalls, and museums, and farmers markets,…oh my!)
