2015 Infinity Blackfish ST Stand Up Paddle Raceboard

From the Infinity 2015 Catalogue:

Blackfish series of boards is the latest evolution in design by Dave Boehne. Taking the concept of hydrodynamic surf design in an all-new collection of boards that have taken the race paddle scene by storm. The concept was simple as Dave wanted to throw the nose from a Steve Boehne prone board on the front half of a race board. Since this simple want, the BlackFish series has expanded and been fine tuned to meet the needs of any disciple of paddling. The concept is to plane rather than displace. It is different from a lot of boards out there but it’s where we’re headed.

The ST is an all around racer developed by Dave Boehne with input from Slater Trout. The board features a very straight outline from tip to tail that increases stability and an all-new rocker that likes to plane on top of the water rather than slice and part it away. The board is super forgiving in chop and is a beast paddling upwind/up-chop. Slater claims it to be the “fastest board in the bumps I’ve ever ridden” and if you have the motor, this board has been proven to sprint faster than any board we make. Slater took 1st Place 2014 Payette River Games flat water sprint and 8th place Battle of the Paddle. Versatile indeed. Available in both 12’6″ and 14′ length.
