Cooper the amazing SUP dog, my sweet hubby/Sherpa/cheerleader Jeffro, and of course, the one and only Kate Lewis. I’ve chased that woman up and down Lawson’s Creek countless times doing intervals. I hate to love intervals…but damn, it sure did pay off at Chattajack!!

Tell us about the best friend(s) you made through SUP
So many! I’m so blessed to be part of the 100/100 Paddle Challenge family! It’s such an awesome group. So supportive & fun! I was also able to work with Kate & Charley Lewis from Stand Up Outfitters in New Bern & set up some “ladies day” paddles!! It was so RAD to get my girlfriends on the water and spread the paddle love. We laughed, we paddled, we laughed some more.
What is your best SUP travel tip?
Let someone else drive so you can look at the pretty leaves on I-40 on the way to Chattajack…it’s stunning! (And don’t tie a 14′ board down too tight while its in a sup taxi.)
