It looks like they had an amazing program on yesterday. For those of you who missed it, here is the trailer and a clip from some of the whitewater footage. It looks like it was a blast. And Grand Teton National Park and the Snake River are spectacular. This first video is a true trailer, talking about how the trip came to light and has quick clips of Ken, Annabel, Gillian Gilbree with their guide/outfitter Aaron Pruzan, owner of Rendezvous River Sports. The second gets into some of the paddling on the Snake River, talks about choosing a good line and having fun. The one thing you’ll all notice is the dry suits. NO wetsuits. (when shooting the rapids) I’ll see if I can get a gear breakdown from Ken and Annabel.
Whitewater pioneer and personality Ken Hoeve, World SUP champion Annabel Anderson and friends travel to the Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming where they’ll tackle the class II and III whitewater of the Snake River by stand up paddleboard. Although SUP is commonly known for its flat water and surf contexts, its evolution into whitewater rapids is a recent and uncharted path being blazed by this group of world class paddlers.
Here is the second clip where the crew is having fun in class 2/class 3 whitewater rapids on the Snake River:
World SUP champion Annabel Anderson along with Ken Hoeve and crew take on the whitewater of the Snake River standing up in this World of Adventure digital exclusive.
