The Holiday Season. That time when we are tempted to eat too much, maybe of the wrong things, or demands on our time interfere with our training goals. If you start to see an affect on your training, or nutrition, Amy Beausang has some good advice.
“Just keep trying. Persevere. I know this sounds cliche, but it really works,” she writes in her blog.
“Because no one improves in a straight line. Rather, we zigzag our way to better health and happiness.
Whatever it is that you are aiming to accomplish or overcome, the process will go something like this: you get better, then there is a setback of some sort, then you get better still, and then another setback. And then you continue to improve.”
