Here’s another awesome story about a grom who is making her mark on the paddle world, but as an entrepreneur, not as a racer.
When she was 11, Sage Offutt asked her folks for a loan to start a mobile paddleboard rental business in Navarre, Florida. It went so well, she paid them back the $5,000 in just 17 days!! Earlier this week, the 14-yea-old was honored by Florida Governor Rick Scott with his Young Entrepreneur Award.
That’s pretty rad!
Here’s the news account of the honor and you can read more about Sage and her business here.
