LouAnne Harris Does It!! Completes SUP Expedition Down the Mississippi!

Harris Completes SUP Expedition of the Mississippi

Expedition paddler, one half of the Atlantic Sup’r Girls and SIC Maui paddler LouAnne Harris became the first woman to sup the entire length of the Mississippi River when she completed her source to sea paddle yesterday!!

LouAnne started the journey back on August 11 as an effort to raise awareness for the need to protect our nations rivers.  The trip was a fundraiser for Rivers of Change, a non-profit group that works to connect folks to rivers and promote source to sea literacy.

She began the trip near Park Rapids, MN and finished it in th Gulf of Mexico, taking a bit of time off to compete in the Chattajack 31 race in Chattanooga On October 26.

Big, big congrats to our of our favorite paddlers!!!

If you’d like to donate to LouAnne’s campaign, check out her GoFundMe page.
