Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Junior Olympic Games for the first time every will include Stand Up Paddleboard racing. We are hosting this here at Paddling Paradise.
Hello Paddlers,
We are very excited that our sport of Stand Up Paddling has the opportunity to be included in the AAU Olympics and Sunshine State games.

No race day registration
OPEN TO ALL AGES
This is a Championship event and winners will awarded Gold, Silver, Bronze awards along with 2020 AAU Champion. If you are from Florida you could also win the 2020 Sunshine State Games Champion title.
This is a huge step forward for the competitive side of our sport. It opens the door for athletes to have a path of programs that would hopefully include the Olympics in the future.
The event is open to all age group Stand Up Paddlers. We will have an open class and a One design class. If you don’t have your own board we can provide boards and paddles.
The event will be heat style using 5 man heats.
You will paddle 3 different times along a fun 1/4 mile course, with different people in your heat each time.
You will only keep your 2 fastest times.
After this will will be having an open group race from 3 to 5 miles depending on time and weather.
