Attention Paddle Monster Paddle Challenge and Virtual Race Community! The Paddle Monster and Paddle Logger teams are reminding all paddlers that there are three events currently active. We will review them in a moment, but a new update to the Submit “Distance or Time” entry forms NOW lets you select multiple events to make distance and time submission easier! Our system now figures out what races and challenges you’re in and displays them on the submission screen; you select what you’re submitting for and we do the rest. Much easier!
Now, to review the current challenges and events, they are:
Paddle Around the World
The Paddle Around the World is STILL active, we’re at 56% of the way there. Remember, any paddling you do can be directed toward paddle around the world! If you are supporting this challenge, we need to get another push to get to the 40K km!
The Yearly Paddle Challenge – Year to Date Paddle
The Paddle Monster Year To Date challenge is a total accumulation of your individual paddle, each time you’re on the water toward your own early paddle goal. Are you shooting for 1000K? If so, track it in this challenge and see how you compare to your paddle friends and others around the world!
This is a free challenge, so register and start recording today! PS: If you have a bunch of unrecorded miles, please just submit your time manually summing your entire distance to date. Take a picture of the sheet you summed your distance on and submit that as proof!
The “I Love Paddling” Challenge
The I Love paddling challenge is a paddle challenge for the months of February – it started on Valentine’s Day – and will continue until the end of March!
This is a free challenge, so register and start recording today! There will be a special award for the top paddlers in each category, so get on it!
SUPPORT PADDLE LOGGER!
A big thank you to our partner and the Paddle Challenge and Virtual Paddle League sponsor Paddle Logger! If you don’t know, Paddle Logger is a mobile tracking app designed from the ground up for paddlesports. We want our users to get the most out of their chosen paddlesport and have deliberately designed the app so the user has minimal interaction. After setup on dry land, once they get down to the water all they have to do as part of their final checks is press go. They can concentrate on paddling we will handle the rest.
