The inaugural Port Orange Riverfest on the Halifax and Paddle Battle will be on Saturday May 5th, 2018. The Paddle Battle will be a 6 mile open class race and 3 mile recreational SUP race. The 6 mile open class race will have a total of $3500 in cash prizes. The 3 mile race will have prizes for the fastest racers in each class plus fastest women. This event is in combination with the Inaugural Port Orange Riverfest on the Halifax. There will be food, drinks and music at the Riverfest after the race.

This year, paddlers will embark from Fort Boonesborough State Park (FBSP) with the 6 mile float and race ending in the Clays Ferry region, and the 19 mile race ends near the historic Valley View Ferry. Post event, paddlers rally at Proud Mary’s BBQ for a festival which includes live music, awards ceremony, raffle prizes, and rad booths from our sponsors/partners.
The Bluegrass River Run is part of the EKI’s Kentucky Waterman Series, the commonwealth’s first ever paddlesports racing league which was founded in 2017. The 2018 season features 11 events that take place across all regions of Kentucky including Appalachia, and western, central, and northern Kentucky.
This will be the first event of the 2018 Kentucky Waterman Series and our first down river race/float of the year; making it a perfect way to start the season. Last May, we had over 100 paddlers from 10 states attend the BRR. Countless memories were made that weekend, and tons of high fives were exchanged. SUP and Sea Kayakers race a challenging 5-mile race negotiating the swirling currents at the mouth of the Hudson River and New York Harbor. Surfski and OC1 and OC2 racers paddle an 8+ mile race to the Statue of Liberty. This race qualifies for the East Coast Outrigger Racing Association Point Series.

The race will be held on the James River just outside of the capital city on August 11, 2018 at the American Legion Landing in Midlothian, VA. There will be a Fun Paddle (2.5 mi) for more beginner and recreational paddlers, a Long Course (5.0 mi) for more experienced racers, and a 17-Mile Rundown for endurance kayak and canoers! The Rundown will be a mixture of flatwater and rapids from Maidens Boat Landing down to the American Legion Landing. The Long Course will be a flatwater race from The Landing to the 288 Bridge and back! The Fun Paddle will feature a buoy course for paddlers to circuit. SUPs, Kayaks, and Canoes will be allowed to participate in either event, however only Kayakers and Canoers will be allowed to participate in the Rundown race. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place finishers in each division for Men and Women. Note: There must be a minimum of 3 people participating in the division in order to get awarded. After the events have concluded, there will be an award ceremony with gifts and prizes, as well as refreshments, food, and music for participants and guests to enjoy. The Crossing For A Cure is a long-distance endurance paddle challenge and international championship race that takes paddlers 80 miles across the Gulf Stream, from Bimini in the Bahamas to Lake Worth Beach on the Florida mainland inspired by incredible health benefits that a salt water environment can provide for those living with cystic fibrosis, a terminal lung disease. Our event, in its 19th year, is over 2 days with an ECORA OC6 Points Series Race, FISA Coastal Rowing 6km and 500m Sprints and Surfski Clinics on Saturday 14th. Our end-of-the-season SUP and kayak race is part of a back-to-back weekend race along with “Paddle for YOUR Cause” on Lake Lansing, Haslett, MI on 9/21/19. This event also wraps up Midwest Paddle League 2019 racing series with season-end party to follow.
It’s also our honor to announce Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary, the Midwest’s largest sheltered no-kill sanctuary for dogs as our supporting charity for this event.

The 7th Annual Chucktown Showdown presented by Charleston County Parks and Rec is moving locations! On September 28th, 2019 racers will be heading to the "Edge of America" on Folly Beach, SC to experience the new race courses and venue. The race benefits a local chapter of the Surfers Healing non-profit, which is an organization who's mission is to, "enrich the lives of people living with autism by exposing them to the unique experience of surfing".
Races are open to SUPs, Prones, Surfskis, OCs and Ocean Kayaks with $2,500 in cash prizes for select divisions. The following course options are available and will feature beach starts and finishes and include:
- Folly Beach Ocean Course (~9 m)
- Folly Beach Pier Course (~4m)
- Kids Course (1m)
This event is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend and support the paddle community of Charleston! Following the race, the festivities continue back at the Pelican Pavilion to browse vendors, grab some lunch and toast with friends new and old in the Beer Garden. Don't miss the chance to win some cool prizes in the raffle and celebrate the paddle victories during the awards ceremony!

The 2020 North Guana Outpost Spring PaddleFest invites you to the GTM Reserve beach to compete in this inaugural paddling competition on Saturday April 4, 2020. The race consists of three events; a 3-Mile SUP event with three age division for women and men, a 6- Mile SUP event with an open age division for women and men and a 12-Mile Surf-Ski, OC-1, OC-2 and Prone Paddleboard Race open age event. The 6-Mile and 12-Mile events offer cash prizes.

The California River Quest is a paddling event held on the Sacramento River starting in Redding, CA. It provides a variety of course options that makes it interesting for competitive paddlers as well as accessible to adventure paddlers -- 25, 50 and 100-mile courses. The California River Quest provides a unique opportunity to paddle special piece of the Sacramento River that remains natural and clean. The course begins at Sundial Bridge and flows through riparian forests and oak woodlands teeming with wildlife and plants as well as a section that runs through a lava canyon.Find out more »

We are hosting a 7-mile open water course available for surfskis, outrigger canoes, sea kayaks, SUPs, open water rowing skulls, and prone on beautiful Toms River, which flows into Barnegat Bay in NJ. In addition, we have a 100 yard sprint on protected flat water available for surfskis, k1s, and and SUPs. Winners of the sprint in men's and women's divisions will receive a cash prize. There will also be first prizes for the first male and female in the open water, and medals in all divisions with a minimum of three competitors. Food tickets are available this year. On September 25th during York County Watershed Week Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association is hosting the 3rd Annual Dam Bridge Challenge which is a series of 3 different "races" on the Susquehanna River at Lake Clarke starting and finishing at Lock 2 Recreation Area. The main event is a 10 mile paddle. Based on weather conditions and flow, entrants will either go down to the Safe Harbor Dam and back to Lock 2 (10miles) or paddle up the 462 bridge and back to Lock 2 (10 miles). The 2nd event will be a 3.5 mile paddle around Grace Island and back to Lock 2. The 3rd event will be a 1mi paddle from Lock 2 to Fishing Creek and back.
Registration for the 10mi event starts at 8:30am and will commence at 9:30am. Registration for the 3.5 mi event will start at 9:30am with a start time of 10:30am. Registration for the 1mi event will begin at 10:30am with a start time of 11:30am. Walk ins accepted but PREREGISTERING is preferred!
This event will serve as a fundraiser for the Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association (LSRA) and an opportunity for our organization to bring together our communities in support of clean water! This event can be as competitive as you'd like it to be. There are some who are competitive and some who just want to paddle and have fun to support our work. Stay for a while after we'll have a live band, beer, food, and an educational tent for both kids and adults!

ALL entrants will receive a gift/swag for entering along with prizes for 1st place finishers.
The event is rain or shine but if we suffer from high flow or severe weather that causes unsafe river conditions we must cancel this event. No makeup date.
