VPL – Paddle Around the World

Enter the challenge today and help us reach our goal to see how fast we can Paddle Around the World!!!

Paddle Around the World is not a paddle race, but a paddle community challenge open to all paddlers of all skills levels in which paddlers are invited to, starting September 5th, 2020, paddle as part of the Paddle Monster and VPL community to put in individually, as many miles/kilometers as you can toward the goal of collectively paddling around the globe!

1.  Our objective: Paddle the circumference of the globe as fast as we can!

2.  Your Part: Paddle as far as you can, as many times as you want, and submit your distance here. Record your paddle distance with your favorite tracking app and submit your results above!

3. Why Should I do this: Proceeds go to the WHO Pandemic Relief Fund and join the world-wide paddling community for this super fun challenge!

This Circumnavigation attempt means that collectively we each paddle as far as we can on the designated days in September. Once done, you submit your distance per the instructions to the official distance site on the menu above. Once submitted, everyone’s results are added together toward the goal of 24,901 miles / 40,074.3 km. How far do you think we can paddle?

This Paddle Around the World event is a fun, community event in which teams, brands, individuals will paddle their distance, submit that distance toward a running total at our attempt at a total distance of 40,074.3 km.

So get your team, friends, brand, or however you hit the water and get ready to paddle!  Join today!!

Use PaddleLogger to Track and Submit your Distance

Paddle Logger, with its PaddleLIVE capability, is the official paddle and race distance and time tracking application sponsor of the Virtual Paddle league. Paddler Logger is the recommended app for safety when paddling alone or with limited community support in these times when self-isolating or distancing is both required and good practice.
